Ballincollig's underage section is one of the more successful in Ireland. It caters for about 200-250 youths between 8 and 18 years of age. Ballincollig boasts teams for all the ages from under 8 through to under 18.

The juveniles play in leagues and cup. The club hosts touring sides from Wales England, Scotland & France. Every couple of years the club takes sides on tour to a European Country. Age date for players is the first of july in the current playing season.

Training and matches are generally held on Saturday mornings, when the club is thronged with young hopeful players. Ballincollig has a large crew of suitably qualified coaches for all their teams, This season saw ballincollig's under age teams win 2 leagues and compete in many finals. However the highlight of the season for the under 13's & under 14's was their trip to Wales.
